our Best Vacation Ever

One other point we should make about Los Barriles. We felt so incredibly safe. In fact, I strolled into the town centre on my own a couple times and never, ever felt concerned.
During the first week of our getaway, we also took the time to venture north to La Paz for 2 nights. Through our friends at Trout Water Fly and Tackle, we learned that there was a former Kelowna guy who now owns a B B in La Paz. Leonard Bishop is his name and he runs Leo’s Baja Oasis with his lovely girlfriend, Romi. Their B B is conveniently located in the center of La Paz, just 4 blocks up from the Malacon. Leo also owns his own fishing boat, a ‘super Panga’, so also provides guests with an unbelievable fishing experience. We went out with Leo on two seperate occasions and had the time of our lives.
